We are co-sponsoring with the Concrete Institute of Australia a Liberty Steel Mill site visit on 16 July from 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm in Sydney.
The Sydney Steel Mill is the first in the world to use Polymer Injection Technology - a process that uses old car tyres and recycled high-density polyethylene plastic as alternate carbon injectants to produce the foaming slag required in electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking.
